The Innovation & Manufacturing Brokerage Event (IMB 2019), attended by relevant representatives of the industry, academia, research and public authorities, provides a Pan-European platform for the presentation of new R&D&I opportunities in Europe for sustainable, efficient and future manufacturing. Knowledge exchange and the definition of new innovation projects will be outstanding features of the event.
During the first day, challenges for manufacturing in Europe were introduced and discussed, as well as information on the opportunities for Smart Manufacturing in H2020 and on the new instruments supporting cooperation in Europe.
On the second day a brokerage event was hosted, focused on the Horizon 2020 call for proposals focused on Smart Manufacturing with a deadline in 2020, including the detailed presentation of topics, discussion of new projects ideas, tips on how to prepare proposals and more. DUring this time, our partner EMALCSA participated and presented the BRAIN-IoT project to the community attending the event. The slides of the topics covered by EMALCSA, can be found clicking here.
The event also include da programme of social activities and a matchmaking cocktail in Santiago city centre on the 6th November.
IMB 2019 is an initiative of the Galicia-North of Portugal cross-border RIS3, with the collaboration of the Vanguard Initiative.
